Together we celebrate Life, expand our minds, dance and be playful, coming home to our creative expression of Self. Live quality musicians and performers on main stage, playing 90 percent or all originals, two overseas Acts, phenomenal local and NZ wide talent.
 Surprise performances, along with fire dancers. Intentional musical collaborations on stage, passionate DJ’s take over late night.

Forest stage for sound journeys and poetry readings. Bespoke workshops on eco sustainable practises, repurposing clothing, kirtan, kundalini yoga Ecstatic Dance,  unique Rise and Rave Yoga & Dj and much much more.
 Dedicated Healer and Wellness Zone with handpicked NZ authentic practitioners, Maori Natural Healing, and Wisdom keepers.

The Private Land is 20 Minutes north of Kerikeri, 8 minutes from the famous Matauri Bay Beach, 3.5 hours from Auckland.

  • Traditional Mexican Sweat Lodge
The purpose built Sweat lodge and the very experienced Facilitators and Crew of this Mexican traditional Ceremony, will be positioned in the Healing Glade area by the river.
Tickets to secure your space need to be pre purchased via the Ticketing Platform, 30 spaces maximum.  Saturday 7am start for Sweat, Sunday 7am start for Sweat.
Ticketed people will receive an email one week prior to Festival begin with recommended Health Protocol, and What to bring Document.

  • SATURDAY Playtime ! And for the entire Festival as you wish - we encourage being your expressive creative Self 
BRING YOUR DRESS UPS or / and LIGHT UP (fairy or other lights or glow sticks adornments)– whatever you feel like dressing up in, as NEW EARTH as possible !!
Wear from 5pm or earlier if you feel like it!



  • 
CAMPING
 We ask for consideration, and being mindful of tent size and vehicle space consciousness
Size of Tent to reflect number of people  -  Keep your footprint small!
 QUIET CAMP  Zone, ideal for those who like it quieter at night and Families, up on the Terrace a short bush walk from the main venue. 
Baby changing table / Chill Cottage with communal kitchen / lounge and dining / bathroom 

  • NO Gazebos to add to your tent spaces/ if you are near a tree and it is not encroaching another tent site, you can string up a tarp to sit under/ there are also plenty of mature native trees to place a picnic mat under for a shade spot.


  • VEHICLES & PARKING
NEW EARTH NZ is an immersion of four days and three nights. Vehicles will be parked close to your tent where possible. Please be considerate of tent size and site space to fit all festival attendees in!
 Please follow the parking support crew’s instructions for efficient parking, with kindness, as they have the bigger overview of the parking situation. 
Campervans/Buses to park in the designated Campervan area.

 As vehicles are parked near tents, there will be no vehicle movements during Festival times from Thur 29 Feb - Sun 3 March 2024 except for emergencies. Please report to INFO tent or HQ first,  if there is an emergency. If it is a medical emergency, you can also go to INFO TENT or to FIRST AID TENT, or/and grab a crew member to assist you.



  • 
FESTIVAL TIMES
 Gates open 10am Thursday 29 Feb 2024  -  Opening Ceremony 1pm  -  Festival offerings begin 2pm 
Closing Ceremony 5-6pm Sunday 3 March 2024



  • LEAVE NO TRACE
 NEW EARTH NZ is ZERO WASTE SPACE Festival.
 Bring your own rubbish bags and remove your rubbish from around your tent etc and when you leave the Festival grounds. You don’t want your tent to be a target for night creatures looking for food!
 We are a pure nature clean festival ground and we do not tolerate littering at all.
 There will be bins for organic food scraps, flattened clean cardboard collection, for future burning.



  • SMOKING 
Please bring a can with lid to collect your butts / smoking permitted near the large main firepit only. Fire Safety is paramount.
 No Smoking in the ancient Forest beyond the River bridge, or on any Bush Walk. Cigarette butts need to be kept in a tin, for fire safety and not for animals to eat!
 Please remove butts from festival grounds when you depart - Leave no Trace consciousness!



  • WEATHER
This is an all weather event, we do trust the weather in the sub tropical North to be settled summer weather in early March 2024. Bring an umbrella and rain protection clothing just in case. Remember to pack your bug spray, biodegradable sun tan lotion.



  • MONEY 
Bring plenty of  CASH! Some very limited or no offline EFTPOS facilities with some market stalls, food vendors or healers. No ATM in the area. Limited money changing possible at HQ cottage on the Terrace. There will be a CASH OUT Service at HQ at set times, People can transfer a sum of money into the Festival Event Bank Account ( wifi signal at HQ) forward the screenshot to the Staff there, then they will receive the cash. Limited funds and limit on dollar amount to be release in this circulation system. 


  • 
INFO TENT 
This space is to ask questions, report anything of concern or missing. HQ: Lower Cottage up on the Terrace, main organisers and some crew will be there. Any workshops with limited number entries will be listed there, and other updates, lost & found.



  • WIFI 
The venue and camping space is white zone low EMF land, beneficial for your health and well being and deeper sleep.  -  No WIFI  Unplug and connect to yourself, others and nature, call your family & friends before you arrive! 
Switch off your phone or put it on flight mode or extreme battery save mode to preserve your battery charge. The land is at the edge of cellular coverage – very limited Vodafone signal in the upper terraces. PLEASE avoid walking to top of the festival entry driveway to do calls after 5pm and if possible not at all, as it may be disturbing for the neighbour there and also the cows in the paddocks at the Farm adjacent. Thank you for your understanding. PLAN of an OFF the Grid Event!

  • CHILDRENS TICKETS
 Children's tickets cannot be bought without adult tickets. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent, and must be cared for/supervised on site at all times.
The Festival Visitors Agreement will be emailed out to all Adult, Youth and Student Ticket Holders.



  • Media: Easily identify our small professional media Crew by their media lanyards. Attendees and Co-Creators acknowledge and understand that NEW EARTH NZ captures quality visual media during the length of the Festival, to document and support the performers and presenters, as well as to showcase further NEW EARTH NZ Festivals.

  • 
COMPOSURE
 We are creating a peaceful, harmonious space for people to unite, connect, play and dance and express themselves creatively. Any offensive behaviour will result in possible removal from the festival site, if conscious communication does not effect a change. 
Please respect peoples space, be mindful when navigating the crowd, communicate consent before entering someone's personal/physical space. 
Report to the INFO tent if any concerns or observations that require attention from the Festival Team.

 Festival Crew will be easily identifiable as wearing bright orange lycra bands around their wrist.



  • OPEN MIC SPACE - after 10.30pm nights. Forest Stage, by day for poetry readings/ kirtan / by night transforms into the COSMIC PORTAL late night drum and percussion space.



WHAT TO BRING 


  • Your admission pass or ticket to the Festival downloaded to your phone or printed out. It must be previously downloaded as there is no WIFI at the Welcome Desk area! 


  • Valid Photo ID, eg Driver’s Licence, Passport or Student ID – the name on your ID must match your entry pass.

  • Tent or vehicle to sleep in – please keep your footprint small and be conscious of the size of your vehicle or tent as to the ratio of people

  • Rubbish Bag – We are ZERO WASTE SPACE. Please bring a box to remove your recycling in.

  • Sleeping mat or air mattress/ sleeping bag/ pillow/ blanket(s)

  • Head torch/torch with extra batteries

  • Rain jacket/umbrella

  • warm jacket or shawl for night time just in case

  • picnic mat

  • Sun protection – hat, sunscreen, nz sun is powerful / Organic sun lotion will be on Sale

  • Bug Spray

  • Family first aid kit with plasters

  • water bottle – non-glass please

  • This is a cash only festival  - Bring plenty!

  • Plate, Mug/Cup and cutlery – all meals and beverages from food vendors will be served on your plates/mugs. Your teatowel and bio degradable dish wash liquid, scourers, dish cloths, pegs, washing line.

  • We encourage you to support the food vendors selling breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night snacks and beverages at reasonable prices

  • What you need to cook for yourself (you may not need any as there is delicious food on offer at the food stalls!)

  • Bathing togs as river is perfect for a soak

  • We promote the spring fed river to be used instead of showering, please use bio degradable shower gels very sparingly if needed at all - the water is very soft and we need to look after it!!

  • smokers please bring a small can with a lid as ashtray to collect butts (and to remove after festival)

  • BRING YOUR HAND DRUMS and other musical instruments for the Tribal Zone drumming around the Fire Pit on both nights, and also if you wish to perform at OPEN MIC, located within the Cacao Temple space.


  • Your Dress Ups and 'light up' costumes ( glow stick, fairy light other light chains on battery) Adornments.

The land can be beautifully dark at night, with starry skies and sound of the river and Takou Bay in the distance.

NEW EARTH NZ FESTIVAL TEAM has always felt aligned to 29 Feb - 3rd March 2024, as energetically and spiritually it brings high vibrational VIBES.

The dates 29 Feb - 3rd March hold the energetic frequency of the number 3 in numerology.
The number 3 energies are all about creative energies: 
The Trinity of 3 / the number 3 powerful symbolism. Think about good things coming in 3's, the birth-life-death cycle, the mind-body-soul connection, the 3 Acts of a typical story. The number 3 is an omen of creativity, communication optimism and curiosity. Let the Land amplify this even higher!
